w-inds.「invisible」、個人的にはツボったけど、なんかいろいろ間違ってる…(笑)

ニューアルバムをお聞きになった皆様、感想は如何でしょうか？
個人的には、初めてアレンジがツボったアルバムとなりました。
まあちょっと「m7、M7系、やりすぎじゃないの？」とは思いましたが、そもそもw-inds.のアルバム買って二回以上聞いたことがなかった自分(ゴメンナサイ)が、”お腹いっぱい感”持つ程ヘビロテしたのが異例中の異例。
もともと、
これとか→The Chainsmokers – Closer ft. Halsey
これとか→Galantis – Pillow Fight
これとか→Calvin Harris – This Is What You Came For ft. Rihanna
これとか→Clean Bandit – Rather Be ft. Jess Glynne
これとか→Madeon – Beings
的な、ボーカルよりアレンジに耳が行くタイプの曲が好きなので、ストライクゾーンにハマったんでしょうね。

が！　ソロについてはなんかいろいろ間違ってるような…(笑)

そもそも涼平＆龍一に歌わせようプロジェクト(←勝手に命名(笑))は、ファンの裾野広げるための取り組みだと思うんですよ。
なんですけど、アルバムの他の収録曲とあんまり代わり映えしない。ぶっちゃけ「普通に三人で歌ってもよかったんじゃないの？」と思いました。

そして涼平氏のソロ曲『In your warmth』については、さらに「どうよ」と…。はっきり言って、声の良さを生かす曲と歌い方を選んでないと思うんですよ。
この人、背中の深いところからからうなじ、そして鼻の上に抜けるように響く、ものすごく良い声持ってるんです。
(なのに、本人やる気あんだかないんだか分かんない感じで、いまだに歌い方がシロートくさい(笑)。死ぬほど真面目にボイトレしてる人にとっては、多分、いろんな意味で殴りたくなる人でしょう)

でもって今回の選曲はといいますと、「声はそんなに良くなくても、歌い慣れてて、いろいろ小技持ってる人」向き。はっきり言ってあの曲、慶太氏が歌った方がよかったんじゃないでしょうか。(ぶっちゃけ、慶太氏のコピーみたいになっているところありますしね。ちなみに『Boom Word Up』は逆に、最初から最後までISSAさんの声の幻聴が聞こえてましたけどね(笑))

ちなみに、w-inds.ファンの方々にはめっちゃ否定されそうですが、涼平氏にはこういう曲の方が合ってると思います。↓

最後の「Let go, let go, let go of everything」って部分は、ものごっつ腰に来る声で歌ってくれそうです。

…と、妄想に走り過ぎました。(いや、声が良いだけにね、色々考えちゃうんですよ(笑))

ちなみに、慶太氏は最近『地声に近いミドルボイスで高音』という無理ゲーをあんまりやらなくなったので、以前よりかなり聞き易くなったと思います。
今だから言いますけど、正直、hiA辺りはもう聞いてらんないレベルだったんですよね。
“裾野広げる”っていう意味では、今のところ、慶太氏の歌い方の変化っていうのが一番効いてる気がします。(あの無理ゲーは、苦手な人はホント聞きたくないモードになっちゃうと思うんですよ。まあ、今でもまだ残ってますけど)

まあとりあえず、ライブでは気持ちよく踊れそうな曲が揃ってるので、ツアーには期待です。
でも、なんか本数少なくないですか？(泣)

P.S.ニコ動はタイムシフトで、月曜に観る予定。なんか、世間からちょっとずつ遅れてる気が…(笑)
