映画『トランス(2013)』ネタバレあり感想

先週はスプリット(Split)について長々と書きましたが、役者繋がり(？)で本日は『トランス(2013)』ネタを…(←単にムービープラスでやってただけです)

この映画観た感想を端的に言えば、「フランクがプールからガバッと顔上げるシーンで『全部繋がった！』と思ったら、直後のエリザベス動画で『はぁ？』」っていう、まあそんな感じでした。
今更このページ見ている方で映画観てない方はいらっしゃらないと思うので粗筋は飛ばしますが、もう「あれはないよね…」という。

ぶっちゃけて言うとワタクシ、半分過ぎた辺りから『サイモン(ジェームズ・マカヴォイ)は実在の人物ではなく、フランク(ヴァンサン・カッセル)の影みたいなものなんじゃないか』と思ってました。自分のしてきたことを客観視させるための仮の人格っていうんでしょうか。初っ端からプールのシーンに至るまで、全てが偽の記憶。
エリザベス(ロザリオ・ドーソン)がフランクに対して「It’s not about the money. I have to have equal status in the group」という言葉を口にしたのは、彼がこれまで彼女を対等な人間として扱ってこなかったから。
それなりに復讐もしたし、溜飲も下がったし、まあここらで開放してやろうかっていうのが、あの崖の上からの「Are you okay?」だと思ったんですよね。
(ちなみに、1/4ぐらい見た段階では、エリザベスのためにサイモンとエリザベスが共謀してギャング使って絵を盗ませ、このギャングを彼女のテクで殺人に見えない方法で始末していく話だと思ってました)

だって普通に考えたら、彼氏にDVされた女は、復讐のためにあんなことしませんよ。自分は全く傷つかず、これまでの生活を続けられて、相手”だけ”が奈落の底に落ちるようなことを仕掛ける筈です。相手に復讐することによって何かを失ったら、それは相手に傷つけられた状態を受け入れることになるからです。

諸々の出来事が全て現実のものなら、エリザベスの自宅にには三人の銃殺体があり、トラックには彼女の指紋が付いています。殺人は勿論のこと、下手をしたら轢き逃げ、窃盗、死体遺棄の罪まで背負いかねません。行方をくらました彼女は、間違いなく今までの仕事は続けられなくなるでしょう。
これは、明らかに相手によって人生を狂わされたことになり、彼女にとっては”敗北”だと思うんですよね。

そもそも、あのギャング以外の何物でもないっていうタイプのフランクに、ああいう立場の女性が惹かれるっていうのが説得力ありませんし、あれだけ堂々と顔出しまくってたフランクが全く捕まる気配もなく、デザイナーズ系の豪邸に住んでるのも不自然です。
超高額商品扱うオークショニアに、ギャンブル依存症で借金抱えまくったサイモンが就けるってのも妙ですよね。いわゆる”身体検査”は結構厳しい筈です。
『フランクはギャングでもなんでもなく、才能も金もあるけれど、子供の頃のトラウマが元で不安定な人間に育ち、彼女の患者になった』と見た方がしっくり来ると思うんですよね。(だいたい、本物のギャングであれば、記憶を消そうかどうしようかなんて迷いませんよ。自分の覚えていない何かで足がつくようなことがあったら最悪じゃないですか)
こういう男に、女は結構コロッと行って、後で「こんな筈じゃなかった」ってのはよくある話です。

サイモンの”犯行”についても、絵を”切り取る”とか”体に巻き付ける”とか、どう考えても絵の価値を下げるようなことをしているわけで、しまいに、死体とくっつけて保管とか、もう狂気の沙汰です。
だいたい、ハエがたかるってことは空気の流通があるってことです。あんなボコボコの車が異臭放ち始めたら、即、警察に通報でしょう。

ガソリンかけられた車がなかなか爆発せず、フランクが助かりそうな気配が見えた辺りで、もう『これは、フランク＝サイモンであり、全部彼女が作り出した世界の出来事だった』っていうオチしかない！と思ったわけです。
そしたら、アレですよ！
何なんですかね。もう(笑)

とりあえず、あのオチにするなら、サイモンを”同情できるクズ”にしてしまったのは失敗だったと思います。
あの独占欲の強さとか、ツルツルの下半身以外認めねぇ的な姿勢とか、アレ、どう見ても幼少期に母親の生々しすぎる現場とか見てますよね？
銃の扱いに慣れ、異様に生き生きとした顔で銃ぶっ放す様を見れば、『銃がなければ太刀打ちできない相手に痛めつけられてきた過去』っていう線も見えてきます。(母親の男とか…)
エリザベス(に見えた女性)を殺してしまった後の表情とか、もう完全に反則です。
同情の余地のないクズであれば、そもそもエリザベスがそういう関係になろうとは思わなかったでしょうし…

そういうことを考えてしまうと、『病んだ心の方は真剣に治さないでおいて、復讐にだけ本気出すってどうなの？』とつい思っちゃうわけですよ。
この映画は、エリザベスに共感できるかどうかが、観終わった後に『よかった』と思えるかどうかの分かれ目だと思うんですが、正直、彼女は非常に理解に苦しむ人物でした。(超絶美人なんで、目の保養にはなりますけどね)

というわけで、世間の評判がどうなのかは知りませんが、自分的には役者の無駄遣いに見えてしまった映画でした。
役者陣は無駄に良いんで、勿論、録画したものは消しませんが(笑)
